Saturday, April 22, 2017 - Woodland Animal Papercutting Workshop at Dutch's Spirits

Yvonne Laube leads this fun paper-cutting workshop, ideal for beginners ages 15 and older. Using a Xacto craft knife and cutting mat, Yvonne will then lead you through the basic techniques of paper-cutting to create your own Woodland Deer, Fox (shown) or Bear papercut artwork to bring home or give as a gift!

The workshop begins with a brief visual history of paper-cutting from around the world. Paper-cutting can be a beautiful addition to other craft activities, including scrap-booking, card making and stenciling.

About Dutch's Spirits:
First “organized” in 1932 during the twilight of Prohibition, our land was the site of an extensive bootlegging operation financed by the iconic mobster, Dutch Schultz. Now, over 80 years later, Dutch’s Spirits is reviving the distillery foundations and revitalizing its land as kept by the Adams family for generations. Harvest Homestead Farm will be a self-sustaining source of ingredients for its unique beverages, food, and crafts.

Length of workshop: 2 hours
Age Range for Participants: 15 +
Workshop cost: $20/per person (materials and tools will be supplied to use in the workshop). If you decide you want to keep your tools (craft knife and cutting mat) you may purchase them separately at the end of the workshop for $9.
